[fol. 246v] Whenever Will overcomes Wit, then are Will and Wit lost; Whenever Will pursues his ardor, then there’s no Wit chosen at all. Often Will comes upon sorrow unless Wit warns him beforehand, But whenever Will turns to speculation, Wisdom’s cap is torn to pieces.
