¶ Confiteor tibi, Deus, omnia peccata mea, quia tu Deus es sine peccato, et obsecro te, Deus meus, Domine Iesu Christe Nazarene, Fili Dei vivi, per passionem tuam, et per lignum salutiffere crucis tue, et per effusionem sancti sanguinis tui, mihi concedere remissionem omnium peccatorum meorum. Peto, Domine, ut iudicas me secundum iudicium indulgencie tue, et per misericordiam tuam exoro ut digneris inserere in me amorem tuum. Suscita in me veram penitenciam, et adiuva me. Dele iniquitatem meam a conspectu tuo, et ne avertas faciem tuam ab oratione mea ne derelinquas me, Deus meus, set confirma me in tua voluntate. Doce me quod agere debeam. Defende me, Domine Deus meus, contra omnes inimicos meos      visibiles et invisibiles. Defende me, Domine Iesu Christe, contra iacula Diabolica et contra angelos tartareos, suadentes et docentes me mala facere. Domine, ne discedas a me, et ne derelinquas me, Domine Deus meus, et ne proicias me, miserum famulum tuum, sed adiuva me, Domine Deus meus, et perfice in me doctrinam tuam et veram confessionem, quia tu es Deus, Creator meus et Dominus meus, qui cum Patre, Filio, et Spiritu Sancto vivis et regnas in secula seculorum. Amen.

¶ I confess to you, God, all my sins, because you are God without sin, and I beseech you, my God, Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Son of living God, by your passion, and by the wood of your salvational cross, and by the spilling of your sainted blood, to grant me remission of all my sins. I ask, Lord, that you judge me according to the judgment of your indulgence, and I entreat by your mercy that you deign to implant in me your love. Awaken in me true penance, and aid me. Wipe away my iniquity from your sight, and do not turn away your face from my prayer or abandon me, my God, but strengthen me in your will. Teach me what I ought to do. Protect me, Lord my God, against all my enemies seen and unseen. Protect me, Lord Jesus Christ, against the Devil’s darts and against hell’s emissaries, persuading and teaching me to commit wrongs. Lord, do not leave me, do not abandon me, Lord my God, and do not cast me out, your wretched servant, but aid me, Lord my God, and perfect in me your teaching and true confession, because you are God, my Creator and my Lord, who as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost lives and reigns forever. Amen.
